Teeth bleaching or whitening lightens the color of teeth whether darkened from age, coffee, tea or tobacco. Its brightening effects can last up to five years after the treatment depending on your personal habits, such as smoking or drinking coffee or tea.

Bleaching has a higher than 90% success rate. Bleaching is tough on stains but gentle on your teeth! Results vary depending on several factors such as teeth stained from smoking; from taking certain medications such as tetracycline during tooth development; or from fluorosis, a condition occurring in the presence of too much fluoride.

Bleaching will not lighten fillings or artificial materials used in dental repair as for crowns, porcelain veneers, etc. Your dentist may discourage treatment if you have sensitive teeth, periodontal disease, teeth with worn enamel or if you’re pregnant or breast-feeding.

William Shatner, Sarah Palin & Dr. Dalvir Pannu

I was watching The Late Night show with Conan O’Brien the other night and was immensely entertained with William Shatner’s poetic take-off on Sarah Palin’s speech. I had been an avid follower of “Captain Kirk’s” voyages since I was a kid and have a great admiration for this guy who was able to evolve as an actor through the years. And although Shatner’s career hasn’t always been that hot & suffered typecasting badly after Star Trek and his one attempt at a TV Cop series, he really reinvented himself with Boston Legal. So naturally, being interviewed by his team at the “Heartbeat of America” show was not just a pleasure but an honor as well. The experience was so surreal that I felt I had gone where no man had gone before! Check out the video clips below;

Annie is a young beautiful girl from Fremont who was always hesitant to smile due to stained teeth. She had extremly dark stains from tetracyline antibiotic.  It’s a fairly powerful antibiotic that kills a broad spectrum of bacteria, and it can be life-saving. However, when it is taken while teeth are forming, it deposits in the dentin and enamel of the teeth and creates a permanent gray or brown stain. It can be a uniform discoloration of the entire tooth or can occur in the form of horizontal bands of stain of varying intensity. They can range from mild to very dark.

Porcelain veneer are the treatment of choice for tetracycline stains. But you really need an expert <a href=”http://www.pannudental.com” target=”_blank”>cosmetic dentist—these stains are different from any other in that they are very deep in the tooth, and to cover them up requires a mastery of color, translucency, and opacity.

Pammi Bai is the one punjabi singers who has stuck to his roots and not caved in to the pressures of the ever westernising punjabi music industry. An outstanding folk dancer, Pammi turned a professional artiste.

We were honored to add icing on the cake by brightening Bai Ji’s signature smile with our in-office laser teeth whitening system.The translucent bleaching gel is applied to the teeth and a laser light is used to activate the crystals to absorb the energy from the light and penetrate the teeth enamel to increase the lightening effect on the teeth.It took about an hour to achieve the desired shade result in Bai Ji’s case.
